printer driver set-up

Note! Some applications like a Microsoft Word, automatically formats page depending on default printer settings. While printing on other than default printer Word reformats page what can cause undesired changes in paragraph formatting, tables formatting, page breaks etc. To avoid this make your PostScript printer as default printer and set printer properties (desired paper format) before page formating.

Below you will find instruction how to set-up printer driver on Windows XP:

click Start, select Control Panel, open "Printers and Faxes"
right click on printer icon and select Properties

click"Printing Preferences..."

click"Advanced..."

in Advanced Options window set desired paper size and select options: "TrueType Font: Download as Softfont", "PostScript Output Option: Optimize for Portability" then click OK
